This tour explores one of Norway's most significant historical sites, where ancient maritime traditions and pivotal religious events intersect. 
Dragseidet is a 5-kilometer-wide land passage on the Stad Peninsula, historically used by Vikings to portage their ships between Leikanger and Drage, avoiding the treacherous seas around Stadhavet.

Dragseidet is also famous for its role in Norway's Christianization. In 997 AD, King Olaf Tryggvason summoned regional chieftains to Dragseidet for a historic assembly, persuading—and sometimes forcing—them to convert to Christianity.

This tour offers a deep dive into Norway's maritime and religious heritage, making Dragseidet a must-visit for anyone interested in Viking history and the roots of Norwegian Christianity.
