Trip Details - The trip depart from Sandvikseidet. When you cross this mountain pass, from Selje to Sandvik, you first pass a drinking water on your left, then take the first exit on the left. There is a car park about 100m from the road. The trip will depart from here.
From here, the trip goes through varied terrain on a fine path. Some sections will be steeper than others. Towards the end, you will come across the new stone staircase built by Sherpas in 2024. This staircase will lead you to the top of the ridge and on to Tarvaldseggja, 645 m above sea level. There will be time to take lots of pictures here. The trip will eventually return the same way.
