Kyrkjehornet delivers a unique perspective of Selje Beach and Selje Church from approximately 180 meters above sea level.
If you turn your head towards west, you will see the historical island Selja and the majestic ocean view between Stad and Vågsøy.
On your way to Kyrkjehornet you will pass Risnakken and Klipet which both are two wonderful viewpoints above Selje. The trip will eventually go through Kvernhusdalen before we return back to where the trip started.

This tour starts from Selje Sentrum. After you have climbed a set of stairs, you will encounter the trip’s first post, Risnakken.
The trip continues through forest and fine terrain to reach the second post, Klipet.
After a section through heather with slippery paths, followed by a beautiful birch forest, you arrive at the third post, Kyrkjehornet.
There will be time to take stunning pictures during the whole trip.
If there is a desire for it, the tour will also visit Kvernhusdalen before returning.

The guided tour starts and ends at our office in Selje. Here you can park your car, store personal belongings safe and change clothing.
We can be helpful with transportation if needed to/from Selje and also from our office in Selje to the start of the trail.
Travel and medical insurance is not included.
